Side by side treadmills. He slows me down; I speed him up. We are finding our pace together.

Treadmill 5k at 4.5 mph followed by a full minute at 6 mph. Not shabby for someone who isn’t supposed to be able to walk.

Medal Monday! Kinda… This is my favorite race: through a quarry! On my birthday weekend!!! But it was in Maryland and I moved to Kansas a month earlier than anticipated. The Race Director and my “coach” conspired to send me my bib, shirt, and medal. And I did run a 5k that day for my birthday!
