I started running seriously in the fall of 2020. In the middle of the pandemic, I started a weight loss program that required a drastic change to my lifestyle. I didn't like some of the suggested daily workouts. So, I decided to run a 5K a day. Getting started was tough, but I found my groove over time, and things took off. Since then, I have consistently run 3-4 miles during the week and rest on the weekends.
