I personally prefer Dark Mode for all my apps, all the time!
The high contrast is what I need.
It looks like this:
To get your app to look like that, tap on Menu in the bottom right corner of the mobile app.
You will see this:
Here tap Account.
You will see this:
Tap Settings, you will then see this:
Right there, under Appearance, tick off Use system setting and tick on Dark mode.
While you are there, check the list of Swipe gestures at the top of that screen, those can save you a lot of time!
